Are H1N1 symptoms as severe as the seasonal flu? |
I’ve heard that the typical H1N1 cases are less severe than the regular seasonal flu. Is this true?
I don’t believe so. Both the regular seasonal flu and the H1N1 are quite variable, you can have anything from virtually no symptoms to landing in the hospital. The one difference is that the pandemic flu is affecting young healthy people more commonly than the seasonal flu does.
