CPO Member Spotlight- Miscouchemommy |
What brought you to CPO, or how did you find us?
I was looking to join a parenting site when I came across CPO. I was a member of another parenting site for a brief period, but I found CPO was much more appealing and busier than the other forum.
Any favorite Boards?
I enjoy all the boards, but my favorites include the General board, That's Entertainment the Parents 35+ board. I also moderate a few CPO boards such as The Date Club, Arts, Crafts & Hobbies, the PEI board and I co-moderate the Cooking, Recipes and Mealtime board and have really been enjoying CPO's new Slow Cooker Club!
What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy watching movies and tv, experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, doing any sort of crafts, going to the beach, eating any and every type of seafood, and chatting on CPO of course!
How many children do you have?
I have three children. Braeden will be 15 years old in a few months. He has a natural talent for the arts and is a part of the drama club at school. Grace is 6 years old and also enjoys the arts. She currently attends ballet, jazz and tap class once a week and loves every minute of it. Gabby is my youngest at 2.5 years old. She is quite the little spitfire and her various facial expressions and comments keep us in stitches!
Tell us a little about your parenting philosophy...
My parenting philosophy... I try to be firm yet sensitive. I want them to know right from wrong and to treat others the way they would want to be treated.
Are you looking forward to anything in particular this year?
I've recently made a career change that will allow me to take this summer off. I'm really looking forward to spending the summer with the kids.
