What brought you to CPO, or how did you find us?

Myles was just a couple of months old when I first discovered CPO. Gord and I were looking for a solution as every time Myles was rocked to sleep, he would jolt and wake when we tried to move him. Somebody suggested swaddling. So I googled swaddling for more information and up popped the First Years board at CPO. Not only did I receive helpful support and advice, but I discovered my number one source for information. I've been hooked ever since.

Any favourite Boards?

I am the co-moderator of Parents of Only Children, Date Club, Preschoolers and Depression/PPD/Anxiety boards so I spend alot of time on those boards. I also really enjoy the Entertainment, Cooking, Recipes and Mealtime and General Boards.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I admit Im a bit of a geek - outside of being with my friends and family, I am an avid couponer and contester!! I love combining coupons with sales and often walking away with free products. I am also a big advocate in supporting breast cancer research to find a cure!

How many children do you have?

Gord and I only have our three year son Myles. We also do share our home with our fur babies - Boo, Bella, Zasu and Junie our cats as well as Hammie the hamster.

Q: Do you have a particular parenting style or philosophy?

Im not certain that I've adopted a philosophy on parenting yet, or if I have it always changes. Our only goal for Myles is that is grows up to be a happy, well adjusted individual who is successful in whatever course life may take him on.

What are you most looking forward to this upcoming summer?

Camping! We have a few camping trips booked for this summer, but really I'm looking forward to spending time as a family. With different work schedules and hectic lives - it's so great to slow down and reconnect.

Is there anything else that you'd like to share with CPO?

I am so thankful to have found CPO, not only did it get me through the first year with Myles, but I have established so many great IRL friendships and online ones. It truly as been my main parenting tool over the past few years.
