What brought you to CPO, or how did you find us?

I was a SAHM of one and expecting our second at the time and was lonely during the days because I had very little adult interaction. My husband worked all day and  no one we knew were having children like us, I needed the extra support especially with really no one to ask the questions I needed answered.  I just looked up "Canadian Parenting Sites" to see if I could have answers to some of my questions and viola I came across CPO and was hooked!
 

Any favorite Boards?

 
My favorite boards are Birth Clubs, and with having four children in each of these stages- The First Year, Toddlers, Preschoolers and School Aged are by far my most favorite.  I also like Focus on Mom, Baby Wearing and the Newfoundland & Labrador Regional Board.  Although I do tend to read in almost all the boards...........just for answers and knowledge for the just in case moments!! I also like to get ideas from the Arts, Crafts & Hobbies Board too because crafts are a big part of what we like to do!
 

How many children do you have and if you're comfortable sharing a name?

I have four beautiful children.  Hannah who is my oldest and who just turned 8 is our very girlie, book loving thrill seeking child.  Brooklyn our second child who will turn 5 at the end of the year is a very strong headed Spirited Child who has a very good over-active imagination.  Rylen is our only son and is a very typical boy.  He is rough and loves to play and who needs to be outside all the time.  And our newest additon Cooper - who is now 2 months old is our last child who is a very happy playful little girl.
 

Maybe a little something about your parenting style or parenting  philosophy...

 
Oh a parenting style..........I'd like to say I have one set style but with four children one set of rules doesn't really apply when it comes to parenting.
If there's one thing I took from my Dad in regards to parenting it is to love them and show affection no matter what they do right or wrong and always, always be fair to all involved.  And we go by that everyday!
 

What are you most looking forward to this Fall?

Besides my second child starting a new milestone which is kindergarten I'm looking forward to just watching my family grow and mature.  We are also looking forward to family get togethers and of course HALLOWEEN :)
 

Is there anything else that you'd you like to share about why you like CPO?

I have learned so much from CPO members and have become friends with some on here as well.  I haven't met any of them IRL as I live in Newfoundland and I'm pretty isolated away from the other members but it doesn't stop the friendships and support that I have gotten since being a member. I am also currently thinking of the future as it holds so much possibility!
