My girls, their Grandmother and myself just recently went camping to Bon Echo Provinicial Park in Ontario. The weather forecast called for sunny days ahead but, when we arrived the forecast soon changed to rain. I wasn't entirely unprepared, we needed another tarp and much more rope than we had. I would suggest no less than 200 ft of nylon rope to tarp off the cooking area. Though it was raining we were able to sit outside and play cards. As well, make sure your air mattresses are functioning before leaving home. Leave absolutely nothing that resembles food outdoors at night. Raccoons are tenacious and hungry, our neighbours were ransacked every night because they left foodstuffs out. We left out our cutlery box out and it was knocked over! Other than these minor issues our camping days were great and I can't wait to go again!
