Five Tips on Organizing Your Purse |
Are you being weighed down by all the clutter in your purse? Have you ever dumped out the contents of your bag because you can find what you need quickly? Save time and lighten the load and keep all your essentials within reach by organizing your purse once and for all. Here are some quick and easy tips:
- Purge your purse - pare down to essentials. Carry only what you need; you can always keep non-essentials in a duffel bag in your car or in your desk at the office.
- Lighten the load by carrying a smaller purse and wallet. Choose a wider purse over a deep one to avoid archeological digs. Look for one that has pockets for your cell phone, your glasses, etc.
- Break items down into categories like grooming (lip balm, comb, powder), health (aspirin, antacid, tissues), and office (notepad, pen). Store each category in its own small zippered bag (colour-coded or clear) that can be transferred from purse to purse.
- Conserve space by carrying travel sizes of items like hand cream and aspirin.
- Maintain your system. At least once a week, clean out your purse by emptying out scraps of paper, abandoned mints, and used tissues. You can do this effortlessly while waiting for appointments.

I purchased a "Butler Bag" and I LOVE IT!!! The purse has different compartments, everything is so easy to find. I have both the large and small one and easily transfer what I need from one to the other. Check it out, it's an amazing purse. Since I bought mine, 2 other friends have bought theirs. Unless they come out with a new colour I like it will be the last purse I buy.
