I am proud to be involved with such an empowering organization. Girls and women benefit so much from being involved with an arena that does not focus on their being merely decorative. I believe every word of this article and would like to add that Guiding offers so much to its adult leaders as well such as training, confidence, leadership skills, programming for children abilities and so much more. I would encourage anyone to find out how amazing they truly are and become involved with Girl Guides today!

We've four generations of guiding in our family, ranging in age from 7 to 90. What other organization can a woman join from childhood to retirement? When we sit around the table to talk, our connection to Guiding has always linked us beyond our family - in today's world - it's nice to have this connection. Guiding is all about life skills
