It's Pancake Month! |
February has always been considered "Pancake Month" in our home – specifically Shrove Tuesday – but pancakes are great anytime and February is a great excuse to eat them everyway you can.
I remember, when I was a young girl, eating pancakes at the Fire Hall where my father was a volunteer firefighter. Now with children of my own, we celebrate by having an annual pancake breakfast during February. It is amazing how many kids will get up early to have pancakes and walk to school with their friends! Last year we had 25 kids! Fed and to school by 8:25am! It is one of our favourite traditions!
