Is there anything you would like Canadians to know about the H1N1 vaccine?

The H1N1 virus was only identified in March 2009 and it’s an incredible accomplishment that between that time and now they’ve identified the virus, gone through all of the processes to identify a vaccine, mass produced the vaccine and got approval from all the regulatory agencies. In barely nine months they’ve been able to vaccinate millions and millions of people and prevent a huge amount of disease and death that would have occurred otherwise. This is an incredible accomplishment by the World Health Organization, the scientists, the manufacturers and public health agencies.
