Campfire Skillet Dinner
I pre-cut my chicken and ingredients before we leave and keep everything stored in ziplock bags in the cooler. We make this dinner our first night at camp because we can get unpacked and settled while it cooks.

Campfire Beans
Our kids saw an old movie where the cowboys were eating beans from a can and decided it would be fun to have beans on our last camping trip. We didn't cook the beans in the can but we enjoyed our own variation in a big cast iron pot.

Campfire Pizza
This pizza is fun to make but you have to watch it doesn't burn. You can also make this on your BBQ using indirect heat, like an oven.

This is the whole family's favourite meal. I just about promise it's be a hit at your house to. The best part is you have all the stuff in the cupboard to make it.

Sundried Tomato, Garlic and Herb Chicken Linguine
This dish was actually created on a whim when I couldn't decide what to serve for dinner one night and simply started grabbing anything out of the pantry and the refrigerator. It's easy to prepare and fits into any busy families schedule. Even dad can make this one! It is a tried, tested and true recipe that our kids absolutley love. There is so much flavour packed into this pasta dish and the kids don't even realize that they are eating their vegetables, too.
