Introducing Lauren

I am a very busy professional woman who had no intentions on ever having kids.  I got married at 32 after finishing subspecialty training to become an interventional radiologist.  After many years of training, I was finally working in my dream career and getting used to my new busy lifestyle.  Nobody was more shocked and horrified than me to find out I was pregnant at 34 (almost 35).  Well, she's here and I can honestly say that nobody is more cherished and adored than little miss Lauren Abigail!  I can truly say that I was not born until she was!  I love being a mother and everyday I learn so much about life and love from this precious child.  She makes me a better person, a better doctor and hopefully, a good mother!  She is five months old and has a smile that almost makes me cry with joy every time I see it!
