Introducing Lenin

My husband and I were married for nearly 12 years when Lenin came into our lives. He is our sunshine, day and night. His laughs light up the room and his giggles warm our hearts.

Since my hubby and I both work from home, we are able to spend much of our time with Lenin. This has its pros and cons. We love every of playing with him, but at some point, work must be taken care of, if just to pay the bills!

We remember back when we said that our lives wouldn't change. HUH! The biggest change to our lives has been that we want to spend all of our time with this little human who until 8 months ago, didn't even exist! Although we don't eat out every night now, we still travel a lot, and even went camping this past weekend. Lenin has become a veteran traveler -- just this week he flew on his 12th flight! Planes, trains and automobiles - this kid's done it all.

When the doctor delivered him, he said "There's the next leader of the free world!" We hope that he's right. But even if he isn't to become prime minister, we're really looking forward to watching his personality develop and guiding him to become as great a person as he can be.
