Introducing Lucas!
I’m so proud to introduce my son Lucas to you. He was born by cesarean on July 8th, 2005 after 30 long, (but easy) hours of labour.
Although he’s not a baby anymore, he still is my baby.
Lucas loves playing with his cars and looking at books. He also loves to be outside. The only way to get him back in the house is to tell him he’s going to have a bath. He likes to splash around in the tub.
His favorite TV shows are Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go and The Doodlebops.
I found CPO in November 2004, not long after I found out I was pregnant. I was so happy to find a Canadian site for Canadian parents. I joined the Birth Club right away and instantly felt connected with all the expectant mom’s on the board. Everyone was very welcoming and supportive. It was so helpful for first time mom’s to know they were all feeling the same way.
Not long after, I discovered a whole other world outside the birth club. Whether it be relaxing in the Playroom or reading the News and Views, I felt comfortable and right at home. Kind of like a home away from home.
I have made some great on-line friends on CPO. I have even met a few in person. Last year I became a moderator for a few boards which made me feel even more part of a family. There is always a special touch from someone that can make you smile every day.
All that to say, Thank you CPO for being such a great part of my life.
