Heather Grace Stewart

Heather Grace Stewart is a freelance writer, editor and photographer with more than a decade of professional experience.

She is the author of five books (
her most recent releases are Where the Butterflies Go, and Kim Campbell: the keener who broke down barriers) and associate editor of the Queen's Alumni ReviewHer photographs have been published in numerous magazines including Equinox and National Geographic Traveler.
Heather has written for such publications as Reader's Digest, Harrowsmith County Life, Canadian Wildlife and Wild! magazines, and has worked on a variety of successful, long-term contracts ranging from writing for a weekly agricultural e-zine to editing a national law magazine for law students and new associates.

She is a published poet (Where the Butterflies Go, two international anthologies, online journals, and the British small presses) and a member of the Professional Writer's Association of Canada (PWAC), an organization that serves over 500 freelance writers across Canada.  A member of the Canadian Society of Children's Authors, Illustrators and Performers (CANSCAIP), Heather is available for library and school visits.
