Samantha Wilson
Child Safety Expert
Samantha Wilson saw too many Canadian kids abused, sexually assaulted, hurt or killed.
So she changed careers.
Today she uses her expertise to help protect our kids from predators, pedophiles, pornographers, murderers, abuse, abduction, accidents and accidental deaths.
As a policewoman, Samantha received specialized investigative training in child sexual assault, child pornography and abuse. Samantha understands the dynamics of child predators, including their behavior and how much of a threat known offenders can be.
Samantha is a popular talk show expert guest and has been featured on TV, radio and newspaper stories across Canada for her insight and advice on child abduction, predators, school safety, home safety, personal safety for kids and more.
Such noted news sources as CTV and Globe and Mail have called upon Samantha for her expert opinions.
Samantha has been featured in Community newspapers across Canada and has authored articles such as "Internet Lingo," "Loosing your child, a Holiday shopping Nightmare" and answers a child safety advice column available on line.
As the founder and president of Kidproof Canada (www.kidproofcanada.com) Samantha has created and authored many effective child safety educational programs. Last year alone Kidproof Canada trained more than 35,000 Canadian youngsters - each of whom is a little more prepared to protect him or herself; all of whose parents can sleep just a little more soundly.
