Speech-Language Pathologist - Brie Schindel, R.SLP

Brie Schindel is a registered speech-language pathologist with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologist (ACSLPA).  Brie grew up in Southern Manitoba but completed most of her post-secondary schooling in Alberta.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Lethbridge and completed a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta in 2005. 

Brie spent her first two years as a speech-language pathologist working in Northern Alberta with preschool and school-aged populations.  A return to Lethbridge saw her spend a year working solely with school-aged children and a second year working on a pilot project focused on early screening, identification and treatment of children aged 18 – 36 months.  Brie is certified to teach several Hanen Parent Training Programs (It Takes two to Talk, Target Word, You Make the Difference, Learning Language and Loving It) and loves having the opportunity to team up with the parents of preschool children with communication delays to achieve the most success for their child.  Currently Brie is enjoying a year at home with her sweet daughter Elaina who was born in July 2009.
