Linna graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts and a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University in 2001. Currently, Linna is a student of Dalhousie University’s Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy (Post-Professional) program with a research interest in child and adolescent mental health.  She is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapy of Ontario.  Linna holds memberships with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. Linna is also an adjunct clinical faculty member at D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. Her professional experience includes work in school health support services, mental health services with children and sensory integration dysfunction. 


Linna obtained her certification for the administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test through the University of Southern California.  In 2005, Linna became co-owner of Durham Therapy for Kids, a private occupational therapy practice to provide services to children and their families in the Durham Region in Southern Ontario.  In addition to her work with Durham Therapy for Kids  Linna is currently the staff occupational therapist at Lakeridge Health Oshawa’s Child Youth and Family Program.
