Campfire Popcorn |
We had a campfire popcorn popper when we were kids but I haven't been able to find one. We use heavy duty foil and it works everytime. You will need one package per person.
Ingredients
- 18" x 18" square of heavy foil (double if necessary)
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp popcorn
- Stick and String
- Butter & Salt (optional)
Directions
- Place a your foil square on a flat surface. Add vegetable oil popcorn kernals. Make a tent with corners meeting, folding the sides to seal. Be sure to leave room for the popcorn to pop!
- Attach a long string to a stick and tie the string to the top of the foil pouch.
- Hold the pouch over hot coals (not flames) shaking until all corn has popped. Watch that the popcorn doens't burn.
- Open the package carefully and enjoy! You can add butter or salt, but it tastes great just as it is.
- Prepare one package per person.
