Cheese Log

By Tracy Keleher

This recipe is adapted from a very old one. I make this every Christmas and everyone who tries it asks for the recipe. I double it and serve it all over the Season whenever we have company drop in.

Ingredients

  • 2 large Philidelphia type cream cheese blocks
  • 1/2 container of Imperial Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons pimento (chopped fine)
  • 5 olives (chopped fine)
  • 3 shallots (chopped fine)
  • 1 Tablespoon sweet relish
  • 2 Tablespoons Mayonaise
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Worchester Sauce
  • walnuts, chopped

Directions

Cream all ingredients and chill for at least 3 hours. Form in desired shape (log or ball) and roll in chopped walnuts.Wrap in saran wrap and store in fridge until ready to use. Keeps for about two weeks or longer. Instead of shaping you can also put to rim of small bowl and spread the walnuts on top.
