Chewy Brownie Cookies

These are delicious cookies although I try not to make them to often!! Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C Golden Crisco
  • 1 C Sugar
  • 2/3 C packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs (slightly beaten) - add after above is creamed. Combine in large bowl and cream together. Combine:
  • 2 1/4 C flour
  • 2/3 C cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt Add to creamed mixture and alternate with
  • 1/4 C of milk.

Directions

Stir in 1 C choc chips (or 1 1/2 cups whatever you prefer). Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased sheet. Leave 3" between cookies. Bake at 350 for 10 min. Cool 2 min on sheet. Then cool on rack. Cookie will appear soft and moist when done but they will be firm upon cooling.
