Cinnamon Rollups

These can be made ahead and frozen before cooking. 1 is yummy, 2 are plenty, 3 are not to be advised.Do not blame me if you go up a size!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of white bread crusts removed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions

Using a rolling pin ,roll the bread slices to flatten. Combine cream cheese,1/2 cup sugar and egg yolks by hand but combine well. Spread a spoonful onto one side of each slice of bread. Roll up. Stir together cinnamon and sugar. Dip the bread into melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 375 F for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
