Dishpan Chocolate Chip Cookies |
Oatmeal gives these chocolate chip cookies a healthy punch and Rice Krispies give them a delightful crunch.
Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 cups oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 4 cups flour
- 4 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 bag chocolate chips
Directions
1. Mix the white and brown sugar with the oil, eggs and vanilla.
2. Blend remaining ingredients and fold into the first mixture.
3. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned.

This recipe makes a huge batch - at least 7 dozen. I froze part of the cookie dough after baking 5 dozen. Would be a great recipe for a bake sale or family pot luck. My chips did have to be forced back into the dough too. Probably due to the amount of oil in this recipe. Tasty too!

i have made these cookies. they are great. i added a big handfull of raisins, different kinds of cereal. they are great for christmas because they make alot. better have a dishpan to mix it all up in.
