Ginger Snaps |
These are my son's favourite cookies.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and beat until fluffy. Stir in molasses.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Roll into balls, then roll in sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 mintues in 300 degree oven.
