Ham & Cheese Shaped Sandwiches

Ham & Cheese Shaped Sandwiches

By Lara S.

Our kids love taking sandwiches to school when we cut them into fun shapes. Simple shapes like stars and circles work well and seasonal shapes make for fun lunches at Halloween, Christmas and Easter!

Ingredients

  • Bread
  • Ham
  • Cheese
  • Mayonnaise or mustard

Directions

1. Using a cookie cutter shape of your choice, cut two layers of bread for each sandwich.

2. Do the same with the ingredients (Ham and Cheese) so it fits nicely into the shaped sandwich. Use leftovers pieces of meat and cheese for a salad!

3. Put mustard or or mayonnaise the bread, top with inside ingredients and you are done. Send to school with some crunchy veggies and a piece of fruit.

TIP: I cut the bread first so I can get the most out of each piece. Any bread remaining can be used for bread crumbs. No waste!
