Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix |
We keep a mason jar full of this on the counter all winter long. The kids love a warm cup after they play in the cool air.
Ingredients
- 3 cups powdered milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cups cocoa
- dash of salt
Directions
Combine ingredients and store in air tight container.
To prepare: ad 4 Tbsp of choclate mix to 1 cup of boiling water. Mix and serve.

wonderful recipe thanks now i can make my own instead of buying store bought . and this is healthier to thanxs so much AND I CAN SEAL IT WITH LOVE TO THE KIDS !!!!!!!

Thank you so much for having a hot chocolate recipe that DOES NOT take the white death coffee creamer. I have been looking for a good recipe to make with my daughter for Christmas presents for her teacher/principal/sensei/brownie leader etc. She was determined to give a home made mix, but all the recipes both in cookbooks and on the net included the white death....not much of a gift!!Thank you again for the healthier homemade recipe
