Korean BBQ Turkey Wings |
After the holiday weekend, wings go on sale—it's the perfect incentive to make these delectable wings. Serve them as an appetizer, snack or main dish.
Ingredients
- 4 turkey wings (1 kg /2 lbs.), split, fat trimmed and tips removed
- 12 cups (3 litres) water
Marinade:
- 1 cup (250 mL) Hoisin sauce
- 4 Tbsp (50 mL) soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp (45 mL) water
- 3 Tbsp (45 mL) honey
- 4 Tbsp (60 mL) grated fresh ginger
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
Directions
1. Boil wings in water for 30 minutes then remove from heat and set aside.
2. Place all marinade ingredients in a heavy re-sealable bag. Place cooked turkey wings in the bag and massage until sauce has evenly coated wings.
3. Refrigerate overnight or no less than 4 hours. Heat barbeque to 400ºF (200ºC). Spray grill with cooking spray and grill wings until golden and crisp – approximately 20 minutes.
