Love Mice |
My daughter and I love making these cute little "Love Mice" for her class every year.
Ingredients
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 cup fine chocolate wafer crumbs (about 24)
- Miniature red candy hearts
- 1/3 cup icing sugar or fine chocolate wafer crumbs
- Red licorice
- Slivered almonds
Directions
- Melt chocolate and mix with sour cream and 1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs.
- Put in refrigerator until firm (about 1 hour).
- Roll chocolate mixture into small balls with a point at one end.
- Roll lightly in icing sugar for white mice or in chocolate wafer crumbs for brown mice.
- Place on a waxed paper-lined tray.
- Use your imagination and decorate with candy hearts for eyes, almond slivers for ears and red licorice for tails.
- Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
