Magic Reindeer Food |
Don't stop at cookies for Santa! Make up a batch of reindeer food. On Christmas Eve before heading to bed, sprinkle the magic mixture on the front lawn. Santa is sure to spot the glitter, and the smell of the oatmeal and sugar will guarantee the reindeer stop at your house.
This makes a great gift to hand out to the kids on Christmas Eve or to school friends before everyone heads out for Christmas break.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp glitter (sprinkles)
Directions
1. Mix the ingredients and store.
2. On Christmas Eve sprinkle the mixture on your lawn or under your tree.

What a terrific idea! I am giong to do this with my 2 boys:) They will enjoy making it as well as putting it out for the reindeer!
