Melting Moments |
These are like super melting shortbread cookies.
I make them every Christmas with a tiny bit of red or green cherry on top, or Valentine's Day with a touch of pink icing and a tiny silver ball.
Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 3 cups flour
- chopped cherries or chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
Beat together butter and icing sugar. Add flour. You may add chocolate chips or chopped cherries but this is not necessary(although delicious and pretty!). Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Bake on an Ungreased cookie sheet at only 300F for 20 minutes. Cool and decorate as desired.
