Peanut-free PB & J Sandwich |
Our kids love this nut-free peanut butter. We mark our son's sandwich container with a sticky note that says, "I'm a nut-free peanut butter sandwich" so teachers and students know he is not using real peanut butter.
Ingredients
- I.M. Healthy SoyaNut Peanut Butter
- 2 slices of bread
- Jam
Directions
This is a standard sandwich... just spread the nut-free peanut butter on both slices of bread and top with your child's favourite jam.

Where can you get this peanut butter I have never seen it at my grocery stores here in Ontario?

Where did you find the "nut free" peanut butter?? Our son would live on peanut butter but he can't take it to school, this would be awesome.

I haven't seen this type of "nut-free" peanut butter, but I have found sunflower seed butter at the Bulk Barn. My kids love it, and I use it both on sandwiches and as a substitution for peanut butter in homemade granola bars.

You can find many brands of nut-free butters most anywhere these days. The larger Superstores (they often have a Natural foods or Organic section), Metro, local health food stores. My daughter lives on this stuff!! :)

Soya nit butter is not my first choince but a good one, I use sunflower butter instead again found in health food sections or health stores. Soya has levels of estrogen, this children do not need.
