Quick Black Forest Cake

This is about the easiest Black Forest Cake you'll ever encounter. It turns out best if cooked in a Bundt pan but a 9 x 13" pan works well too.

Ingredients

  • 1 Devil's Food Cake Mix (with pudding in the mix)
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tbsp, almond extract
  • 1 - 19 oz can Cherry Pie filling
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (the miniature ones work best)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together. Pour into greased cake pan and bake 45 - 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean. Cool and serve with whipped cream or ice cream or dust lightly with icing sugar. Enjoy!
