Salt Dough-Play-Dough

By Claire Thompson

This recipe is much like play dough, but can be baked to a permanent finish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • cold water to mix

Directions

Add the dry ingredients together in a bowl, then mix in small amounts of water until the dough is the same as play dough. Once models are finished, bake at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 2 hours, or until dry and hard. Allow to cool and paint or glaze. This recipe can be mixed with food colouring before modelling.
