Savoury Pita Pockets |
So tasty your little one won't even realize they're eating veggies. Makes 2 portions.
Ingredients
- 2 pieces pita bread
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise-type dressing
- 2 Tbsp. grated white low-fat cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped red pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped lettuce
- 1/4 cup chopped tomato
- 1/4 cup chopped favourite vegetable (optional)
- 4 basil leaves (optional)
Directions
1. Mix mayonnaise-type dressing and cheddar cheese. Spread mayonnaise mixture on inside of pita pocket.
2. Stuff pita with red pepper, lettuce, tomato, basil leaves (if desired) and one more vegetable of your choice (if desired).
