St. Paddy's Green Menu

By Member Recipe: Helen

My daughter has been waiting for St. Patrick's Day for a few months. Her class made hats and she wants to do green crafts leading up to the big day. While I don't plan to make anything really irish we are going "Green." Here is what we have planned.

Ingredients

Breakfast

  • Green Scrambled Eggs
  • Kiwi Fruit
  • Green Milk - Add a drop of green food coloring into an empty glass.
  • Add milk. The milk magically turns green!

Lunch

  • Green Mac & Cheese

Dinner

  • Green Mashed Potatoes
  • Broccoli
  • Green Fish
  • More Green Milk

Dessert & Snacks

  • Green Jello
  • Green Ice Cream
  • Green Celery

One tip I would like to offer everyone who likes to color their food, use a bakers gel coloring (found at most bulk stores) instead of the small bottles you get in the grocery store. You only need a little bit and you get great color!Julie
