Strawberry Rhubarb Freezer Jam

This recipe is very easy to make and perfect for early summer strawberries and rhubarb.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups finely chopped rhubarb, fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups chopped strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 pkg no-cook freezer jam gelling powder

Directions

1. Combine rhubarb and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered until tender (about 5 minutes). Chill.

2. Combine chilled rhubarb with chopped strawberries. Follow package directions for the rest.

    I would be most grateful for a few recipies relating to cooking for 2. all of the recipies are set up for serving 4 people so there is a lot of food left over and must be stored in the fridge. Thank you.
