Watermelon & Raspberry Juice |
Relax in the shade with this refreshing fruity drink. It's the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. Makes about 200 ml (7 fl oz)
Preparation time: 5–6 minutes
Ingredients
- 300 g (10 oz) watermelon
- (1⁄4 an average fruit), deseeded and chopped
- 125 g (4 oz) raspberries
- ice cubes, crushed (optional)
Directions
Put the watermelon and raspberries in a blender and whiz until smooth. Press the juice through a sieve to remove any raspberry pips.
Pour the juice into glasses over some crushed ice cubes, if liked.
For melon & apple juice, place half a small, deseeded and chopped, green melon into a food processor with 1 green apple, cored and cut into wedges (keep the skin on). Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and whiz until smooth. Pour over crushed ice if liked.
