Watermelon Cupcakes |
These cupcakes are a great way to inspire kids to make their own snacks. Older children will have fun cutting the watermelon
with cookie cutters, while their younger siblings spread the creamy
vanilla frosting and decorate with their favourite sprinkles. Serves 8
Ingredients
- 8 muffin cup liners
- 1 seedless watermelon cut into 3-inch (7.5 cm) thick slices
- 1-2 cups (250-500 mL) store-bought vanilla frosting or your favourite homemade recipe
- Sprinkles for garnish
Directions
Place the liners in an 8-cup muffin tin. Using a 3-inch (7.5 cm) round metal cookie cutter, cut 8 rounds from the slices of watermelon. Place 1 watermelon round in each liner. Place a dollop of frosting on each round. Decorate as desired with sprinkles.
