So delicious right out of the oven when they're still warm!

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, cut up
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • Sifted powdered sugar
  • Hershey’s kisses or hugs

Directions

  1. Stir chocolate in a heavy small saucepan over low heat until melted. Cool.
  2. Combine eggs, sugar, melted chocolate, oil, baking powder, and vanilla in a large bowl.
  3. Gradually add flour to chocolate mixture, stirring until combined. Cover and chill 2 hours or until easy to handle.
  4. Shape dough into 1 ¼ inch balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookies sheet.
  5. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are set and tops are cracked. While still hot, press a kiss into the center of each cookie.
  6. Transfer to wire racks and cool. (But they’re better when they’re still warm!)
